IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW YOUR GARMENT CARE TAG INSTRUCTIONS TO ENSURE THE LIFE OF YOUR GARMENT.

Before washing, close Velcro® tabs, snaps and zips, and loosen elastic draw cords.

Machine wash cold
Hang to dry — do not tumble dry
Do not dry clean
Do not use bleach
Do not iron
Do not use fabric softeners, or detergents that have softening agents including laundry pods as these agents damage the waterproof capability of your apparel.

Garments may be susceptible to shrinkage. Many products produced by CSE WORKS™ have heat sensitive reflective material that will be damaged if treated/washed in hot water and hot dry cycles. Premature fading can be avoided by not leaving or storing your product in areas with exposure to direct sunlight — including automobile windows. CSE WORKS™ is not responsible for products that are damaged due to improper care, negligence, or normal wear and tear.

Nikwax Cleaners & Waterproofers Care Instructions

Nikwax BaseWash®

Use undiluted Nikwax BaseWash® to treat stubborn stains before washing.

Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use fabric conditioner. Do not use on waterproof clothing.

Place item(s) in washing machine.
Use 2fl oz/50ml of Nikwax BaseWash® for front loading washing machines. For top loading machines in USA and Canada use 3.5fl oz/100ml for low water level, or 5fl oz/150ml for medium water level.
Wash according to care label.

Nikwax Tech Wash®

Use undiluted Tech Wash® and a sponge, or soft nylon brush, to treat stubborn stains before washing. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use detergents.

Top Loading Machine Wash:

Place maximum 6 garments in washing machine.
After the machine has filled, 5fl oz/150ml for 1-3 garments, 8fl oz/250ml for 4-6 garments. Add an additional 50ml for hard water* areas.
Set cycle to Heavy and Warm. 1-3 items: low water level, 4-6 items: medium water level.

Front Loading Machine Wash:

Remove all detergent from detergent dispenser.
Place maximum of 2 garments in washing machine.
Add 3fl oz/100ml of Tech Wash®. Add an additional 50ml for hard water* areas.
Set cycle to Synthetics and Warm (30 degrees celsius).

Nikwax TX.Direct® Spray-On

For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash®. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing.

Protect working surface and lay clean garment flat and zip up all zippers.
Hold bottle 15 cm/6 inches away from garment.
Apply evenly to outside of fabric.
Wait for 2 minutes. Remove any surplus product with a damp cloth.
Check carefully to ensure no areas have been missed.
After several minutes check for and remove any surplus product with a damp cloth.

Nikwax Polar Proof®

Conventional detergent can damage water-repellency. Therefore always clean first with Nikwax® Tech Wash®. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing. Follow garment care label instructions. Shake bottle well before use.

Top Loading Machine Wash:

Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
Place clean item(s) in washing machine (maximum 6 items).
After the machine has filled with water use:
3fl oz/100ml for 1-2 items, low water level
5fl oz/150ml for 3-4 items, medium water level
8fl oz/250ml for 5-6 items, high water level
Run heavy soil machine cycle.
Wash according to care label.

Front Loading Machine Wash:

Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
Place clean item(s) in washing machine (maximum 4 items).
Use 3fl oz/100ml for 1-2 items and
5fl oz/150ml for 3-4 items.
Wash according to care label.

Drip-dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
To maintain waterproofing always wash with Nikwax Tech Wash®. Do not use detergents.

Nikwax TX.Direct®Wash-In

Use Nikwax TX.Direct® Wash-In in a washing machine. For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate wash cycle. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing.
